## What you will do
- Design and ship the agentic layer that drives automated campaign decisions.
- Build a tool-use framework on top of Claude and other frontier models.
- Ship memory and state for long-running, multi-step advertising workflows.
- Define guardrails, spend caps, and escalation paths the agent must respect.
- Instrument every step. Replayable traces. Every decision auditable.
- Partner with the media buying team. Encode their real playbooks into the agent.
- Build eval harnesses that compare agent performance to human media buyers.
About your position
Soon Coinis will launch an AI media buyer that drafts, launches, and optimizes ad campaigns on its own. You build it. You design the agent loop, the tool layer, the memory layer, and the guardrails. The agent sits on top of the same Meta Business API integrations our users run manually today.
Job requirements
## Must have
- 5+ years in backend or ML engineering.
- Production experience with LLM tool-use, function calling, or agent frameworks.
- Strong Python. Async and streaming comfort.
- Experience building systems that take real actions on behalf of users. Not just chatbots.
- Deep respect for observability, evals, and failure modes.
## Nice to have
- Anthropic Claude API, OpenAI API, or similar at scale.
- LangGraph, CrewAI, or custom agent orchestration.
- Ad tech, performance marketing, or media buying context.
- Experience with vector databases and semantic memory.
