Why Add Users to Your TikTok Business Center
Team access keeps campaigns moving without sharing login credentials.
Delegate campaign and asset management to team members
Multiple people can run ads, manage assets, and pull reports under one Business Center. Each member gets their own login. No shared passwords. No security headaches.
Assign role-based permissions for security and oversight
Per TikTok's Business Help Center, every member gets a defined role that controls exactly what they can see and do. You stay in control without micromanaging daily tasks.
Separate financial access from creative access
Billing and payment data stay protected. Creative and campaign teams get the access they need. Finance details go only to members with finance roles. Clean separation, less risk.

Understanding TikTok Business Center Roles
TikTok uses two base roles and two optional finance add-ons. Each Business Center supports up to 4,000 members.
Admin. Full access to all features and user management
Admins can add or remove members, create and transfer accounts, assign assets, manage Business Verification, and update Business Center settings. Full control, full responsibility.
Standard. Limited access to assigned accounts and assets only
Standard members can only work on accounts and assets explicitly assigned to them. They cannot add or remove other members. They cannot create new accounts. Use this role for most team members.
Finance Manager and Financial Analyst add-on roles
These roles stack on top of Admin access. Finance Manager gets full control of payments and finances. Financial Analyst gets view-only access to financial data. Assign them only to members who need billing visibility.

How to Add a User to TikTok Business Center
Follow these six steps. Each one takes under a minute.
Step 1. Log in and navigate to Users
Open TikTok Business Center and sign in with your admin account. Click Users in the left navigation menu.
Step 2. Enter the member's email address
Click Add Members. Type the member's email address into the field. Confirm their name when it populates.
Step 3. Select a base role (Admin or Standard)
Choose Admin for full platform access. Choose Standard for scoped, asset-level access. Match the role to their actual responsibility on your team.
Step 4. Optionally assign a finance role
Toggle on Finance Manager or Financial Analyst if the member needs billing or payment visibility. Leave both off for creative and campaign-only team members.
Step 5. Grant account and asset access
Assign the member access to ad accounts, TikTok accounts, TikTok Shops, pixels, catalogs, audiences, or leads. You can do this now during setup or return to it later.
Step 6. Send the invitation
Click Send. TikTok emails the invitation directly to the member. They accept it and join your Business Center. Done.

Assign Specific Accounts and Assets to Team Members
Only admins can assign account and asset access to other members.
Grant access during member creation or after
You can assign accounts and assets during the invitation flow. Or go to the Users tab after the invite, find the member, and click Grant access at any time.
Assign access to ad accounts, TikTok accounts, shops, pixels, and more
Members can receive access to ad accounts, TikTok accounts, TikTok Shops, pixels, catalogs, audiences, and leads. For TikTok account access, choose between Show through ads only (prevents profile publication) or Show on TikTok profile and in ads (allows both profile and ad publication).
Bulk-assign permissions to save time
Admins can bulk-assign multiple account and asset types at once. Use this option when onboarding several team members with similar access needs. Much faster than assigning one by one.
---
Manage Member Permissions After Adding Them
Access needs change. Member management should keep pace.
Update role and access levels anytime
Open the Users tab, find the member, and edit their role or asset assignments when responsibilities shift. No need to remove and re-invite them.
Resend invitations if the member doesn't receive them
TikTok's Business Help Center confirms admins can resend invitation emails. Have the member check their spam folder first, then resend from the Users tab if needed.
Remove members when their role changes
When someone leaves the team or moves to a different role, remove their Business Center access immediately. This protects your ad accounts and financial data.
