We will explain in short terms what search arbitrage is about. Search arbitrage means buying advertising space on one platform (like Facebook) to get traffic and then sending it to a monetized page of search results from different search engines. Clicks on these search results generate revenue for the marketer you are monetizing with a given search feed.
For promoting a search feed on Facebook, the feed provider gives you a search feed link that you add to your Facebook campaigns. When someone clicks on a Facebook ad, it will open a search page result of search browsers like Google, Bing, Yahoo, or other browser search feed, with a relevant keyword already searched. Once a user clicks on particular search feed results, both the search feed provider and you earn money, and actual user clicking is taken to the advertiser’s page.

Hosted search pages will redirect you straight to Yahoo or Bing search page. Online stores – 30 to 50 days
In this category, order delivery time might take from 1-2 days to over a month, depending on the store location, customer’s address, mail, and courier services. There is also a possibility of a product being returned from the customer.
Financial programs – 10 to 35 days
For example, the user’s application for a credit card can be approved quickly, taking only a couple of days. But the approval process for a deposit can be longer, and the confirmation of your payment could take up more than a month.
Travel – 50 days to several months
This segment has a unique quality: many customers will reserve their trips, flights, and other services up to six months or even one year in advance. This increases the possibility for the customer to reconsider and cancel any orders they made.

If you have previous experience in running campaigns on our platform and you have identified “bad” or “good sources”, you can whitelist or blacklist sources.
To do that, go to the campaign where you want to whitelist or blacklist sources, and scroll down to the SubID & Placements.

There are 2 ways you can exclude or include sources:

first field: by previously created local lists

Including/Excluding Local lists
To include or exclude local lists, click on the first field. After clicking on it, you will see following:

As you can see, a “Global blacklist” is automatically selected, but you can unselect it. Other than that, you can choose to exclude/include other lists you have created.

Now we have excluded all sources which are in “Global blacklist” and “Coinis Blacklist” which means you will not receive any more traffic from these sources.
Including/Excluding individual sources
Besides that, you can exclude or include individual sources from this exact campaign. You can do that just by adding the source in the second field.

Excluding sources through reports
When you have your campaign already created and when it received some traffic, you will have enough data to optimize your campaign by sources. 
Excluding sources on our platform is actually a really easy task. All you need to is to Reports, and search for the campaign, you want to exclude sources from.

After that, click on the small “+” icon, and you will get an expanded view of the campaign, with all the subids this campaign has.

However, this is not the case since the number of ads that you show per one page should be highly correlated with your content. How to change bids per source

So, you started a campaign, had some results, and started optimizing. 
One thing you will, for sure, want to optimize are sources. You will Exclude all the sources that are not profitable for you after some time. 
But, on the other hand, you will have many profitable sources, some more and some less.
In that case, you can change bids accordingly to the profitability of the sources. You can lower or raise the price of each source separately. 
Change the price
To do that, you must go to the “Reports” page, select a campaign you want to optimize sources, click on a small “+” sign to expand the column, and see all sources for your campaign.

After clicking there, we will get all the sources from which this campaign is getting the traffic:

Now, we want to change a bid for source “3” because it is extremely profitable for us, and we want to get more traffic from that source. 
To do that, on the row where source “3” is, we just need to click on the “+” in CPC column.

Each click on the “+” button will increase the bid for a certain percentage. 
So, it goes up by 9%, 21%, 33%, 45%, 61% and so on…
The same thing is for lowering the bid. You click on the “-” sign and lower the bid by a certain percentage each time. 
In this concrete example, the bid for source “3” currently is $0.133, while the campaign bid is $0.1.

Creating a campaign with a blacklist:
When creating a campaign, go to SubIDs & Placements.

To make a blacklist, make sure that you have “I want to Exclude the following SubIDs and lists in targeting” selected.
A global blacklist is selected by default. By clicking on a small “x” icon, you can remove it. But since we usually keep it in our campaigns, we will leave it here.

You can create up to 15 creatives. This may sound exhausting, but there is a way to create them in no time. We will show you how here. 
Basics
Each creatives has 5 elements:

How to easily create up to 15 creatives?
Now, after we have covered all the basiscs, let’s go to the fun part. 
Creating creatives can be a pretty exhausting part of the job, especially if you need to create them one by one.  That is usually the case, since there is always some A/B testing that has to be done with them, in order to find ones that have the highest CTR.
After you are done setting up general configuration, targeting, traffic sources, budget & bids and links, it’s time to setup creatives.

This is the screen you are going to see after you are done setting up your campaign. To add new creatives, just hit “Add New Creative”.

This is the next  screen you are going to see. 
Here you have a possibility to create from 1 to 15 creatives. 
We can add up to 5 headlines, 5 images, 1 icon and 1 description. 
Adding headlines:
First, we are going to add 3 headlines to test out which one works the best.

Adding images
After we have added headlines, we can proceed with adding 4 images and an icon.
The best thing of all is that you can add up to 5 images at once, with one click. 
After we are done with adding images and icons, we are ready to see the beauty of adding multiple creatives on our DSP.

So, as you can see, after adding 3 headlines, 4 images and 1 icon, Coinis DSP mixes up all of them and makes 12 different variations of creatives by itself. There is no need to do it manually.

Upon resetting your password, you will get redirected to the Coinis Advertiser Platform, where you will insert your email and new password to log in.

Choosing workdays means your campaign will be active only from Monday until Friday and will be paused throughout the weekend.
Weekends

Choosing weekends means your campaign will be active only on Saturday and Sunday and will be paused throughout the workdays.
Working hours

Choosing Working hours means your campaign will be active only from Monday until Friday from 08:00h until 16:00h and will be paused throughout weekends and workdays from 16:01h until 07:59.
Custom
If none of the predefined options suit you, you can select days and hours yourself.
All you need to do is to select squares for the days and hours you want your campaign to be active. 
For example, you want to target Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 08:00 until 16:00.

Here, the selected fields are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday as days and 08, 09, 01, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 as hours.
Your campaign will be only active then.

How to set up tracking?

Coinis uses server-to-server (S2S) conversion tracking, the most accurate way to track conversions. 
This means that the conversion data is sent directly from the advertiser’s server, tracker, or affiliate network to Coinis’ platform, so there is no chance of lost data or inaccuracies.
S2S Postback

To find a postback, all you need to do is to go to the “Tracking” page.
When you get there, you will see a couple of predefined links for some of the most popular trackers: Voluum, Binom, and Affise. 
Setting this postback on some of these three trackers is easy. You must copy and paste the link into one of these three trackers. Parameters are already set for you.
If you have a custom tracker, you must copy the link and change the conversion ID and price parameters to those your tracker uses. 
For example, let’s say your tracker’s parameters for these 2 parameters are:
conversion ID = {conversion_id}
payout = {price_paid}
Your link would look like this:

And that’s it! Copy this link and paste it into your tracker. All the information about your campaign will immediately be sent to the Coinis Advertising Platform, which will make the optimization of the campaigns much easier.

How to target specific countries?

When creating campaigns, go to the Geo Targeting Section. 
There, you will see this:

Here, you have two options: You can target one specific country or a Worldwide. Worldwide means that your campaign will seek traffic in every geo we have traffic. 
Note: Targetting Worldwide is only recommended if you promote a product that can receive traffic from any country worldwide. Usually, when targeting worldwide, you will first receive traffic from countries where traffic is cheaper. 
Why can I target only one country? 
This is done this way because of the bid differences. Each country has a specific bid. Even a different targeting (such as browsers and OSs) can change the bid. By targeting only one country per campaign, you will receive the right traffic and the right amount of traffic for the money you invest.  
Targeting regions
You can choose if you want to target a whole country, or you want to select a specific region from the country. 
For example, we are targeting the United Kingdom. But, we don’t want to target the United Kingdom globally, but only England. To do that, click on Target Specific Regions.

Here, we choose to target only England as a specific region. 
This way, you can have more control over your campaigns.

How will changing the bids affect your source’s bids?

So, after you optimized bids per source, you might want to change the general price on the campaign at one point.
Let’s give an example: Your campaign is profitable, and you see the potential in all the sources, so you want to raise a bid for your campaign. 
 If your campaign has a bid of $0.1 and you raise it up to $0.2, all the sources you have previously modified will be modified accordingly by the platform itself. 
Example
For example, if we have a source that has been raised for 33%, like in this example, that source will have a 33% higher price than your general bid in each case. 
So, the new price of this source will be $0.266.
If you’re wondering how let’s show it: 
Campaign bid – $0.1 Source “3” bid + 33% = $0.1 + 33% = $0,133
Campaign bid – $0.2 // Source “3” + 33% = $0.2 + 33% = $0.266
All your changes on each separate source will be implemented even after you change a general bid. 
This is why we are using relative values (%) to change the prices per source. This way, source 3 (from this example) will remain the source with the highest bid. 
A general campaign bid is always taken as a reference point on which certain percentages are added accordingly to each separate source.
