How to set up tracking?

Coinis uses server-to-server (S2S) conversion tracking, the most accurate way to track conversions.

This means that the conversion data is sent directly from the advertiser’s server, tracker, or affiliate network to Coinis’ platform, so there is no chance of lost data or inaccuracies.

S2S Postback

To find a postback, all you need to do is to go to the “Tracking” page.

When you get there, you will see a couple of predefined links for some of the most popular trackers: Voluum, Binom, and Affise.

Setting this postback on some of these three trackers is easy. You must copy and paste the link into one of these three trackers. Parameters are already set for you.

If you have a custom tracker, you must copy the link and change the conversion ID and price parameters to those your tracker uses.

For example, let’s say your tracker’s parameters for these 2 parameters are:

conversion ID = {conversion_id}

payout = {price_paid}

Your link would look like this:

https://t.r-tb.com/mmpa?a=quality&event={eventType}&conv_id={conversion_id}&currency=USD&price={price_paid}

And that’s it! Copy this link and paste it into your tracker. All the information about your campaign will immediately be sent to the Coinis Advertising Platform, which will make the optimization of the campaigns much easier.

If you want to add Macros to your link, you can do it on the page where you are creating creatives.

You can find Macros over here.

Available macros are:

  1. ${CLICK_ID} – Unique ID is used to track a specific click. It must be used in conversion tracking.
  2. ${SUB_ID} – ID extracted from incoming HTTP request. It indicates the traffic source your ad was placed on.
  3. ${PRICE_PAID} – The price paid for the click. This is your Spent.
  4. ${OFFER_ID} – Unique ID for each creative.

Setting tracking is an essential part of a successful campaign, so you have to ensure you do it correctly.
