AFD, or Ads for Domains, is a domain monetization technique whereby owners of undeveloped or unused domains can make money by displaying relevant ads on such domains. When users visit these parked domains, they are presented with a page that is packed with targeted banner or search-based ads, typically matching the keywords or anticipated interests of the users of the domain.
The model is straightforward:

An example is a travel-related domain name that hosts hotel, airline, or travel insurance advertisements.
AFD offers multiple advantages:
