HyperText Markup Language

What is HyperText Markup Language ?

A system for tagging text files to achieve a certain font, color, hyperlink effect, or graphic on www pages. It's a markup language used to create websites on the World Wide Web, made up of markup symbols and codes. All HTML code is used to decide how a web browser will display the text and graphics on a web page; hence every web page is written in HTML code. HTML tags are used by web browsers, although they are not shown. An HTML tag's opening and closing tags are found (name of attributes and a forward slash). Due to its inability to build dynamic functionality, HTML is not regarded as a programming language. On the other hand, HTML allows online users to structure sections, paragraphs, and links with elements, tags, and attributes.

Web developers use HTML code to define how a browser renders web page elements, including text, hyperlinks, and media files. Because HTML is widely used to embed hyperlinks, users may navigate and insert links between similar pages and websites. HTML, like Microsoft Word, allows you to organize and format your texts. A typical website has some separate HTML pages. A home page, an about page, and a contact page, for example, would all have their HTML files. HTML documents are files with extensions.html and.htm. The HTML file is read by a web browser, which renders the material for internet users to see. Every HTML page has a set of HTML elements, which are a collection of tags and attributes. A web page's building components are HTML elements.

A title tells the web browser where a part starts and stops, whereas a feature describes an element's qualities.HTML has a simple learning curve and uses clean and consistent markup. The language is widely used, with a strong community and a wealth of resources. It's fully free and open-source. All web browsers support HTML. Backend languages like PHP and Node.js are easy to integrate with HTML. Static web pages are the primary application of the language. You may need to employ JavaScript or a back-end language like PHP for dynamic functionality. Even if the elements are the same, users must construct individual web pages for HTML.

Some browsers are sluggish to incorporate new functionality. Older browsers don't always render more unknown tags correctly.HTML is the most widely used markup language on the internet. Every HTML page has a set of elements that make up the web page or application's content structure. HTML is primarily used for static internet pages and is a beginner-friendly language with a lot of support. HTML is best used in conjunction with CSS for styling and JavaScript for functionality.

Hit - A page request command on a web server. A hit is essentially a request to a web server for a file. Because the quantity of visuals varies substantially from page to page, the number of hits can differ significantly. Even though its meaning is straightforward, many people misinterpret it, making it one of the most commonly misunderstood terms in online advertising - they use it to refer to unique visitors or page views. It can, however, be used to determine how much traffic a server can manage. A hit is recorded every time a web server sends a file to a browser.

The number of hits on a website during a given period is used to determine its traffic. However, it is merely a rough estimate. Because each download may result in many hits, this is an estimate. A server file corresponds to every banner, button, or hot-link on a webpage, for example. Consider visiting a website with a variety of content, such as videos and graphic graphics. Your single ‘visit' to that page could result in several ‘hits.
