SEO – Follow This To Rank Well on Google

We’ve already written a nice blog about some tricks you could use with SEO and ranking well, make sure you check it out as well. But we will focus more on technical aspects here. Instead of a lot of text, we decided to draw it and make it more fun and concise.

Use FREE Tools & Extensions

Yes, there are free tools which can be useful for a lot of things out there and we can help you find them. Many of these tools are not free or they offer some kind of a freemium model, but combining all of these tools together you might just get a hint on what you have to change.

Start with Woorank. This is a great tool if you want to get a hint on what to change. Just type in your website and see what you need to do. Besides Woorank – take your website through several tools, because you might get another unique thing you need to improve or change in order to rank well. Try: Site Checker pro, Seobility, and Seo Site Checkup. When these sites detect your problem – make sure you look into that problem and try resolving it.

Also, we strongly recommend the Serpwatch SEO Power Tool – it helps you test and plan your SEO campaigns with great features specially made for modern SEO professionals. Some benefits of Serpwatch are: having a single screen with a customizable view of your keyword placements, how well and where your keywords are ranked, and hands-on notifications on both mobile & desktop, with the addition of monitoring other search engines. If this seems like a useful tool for your business, you are lucky because it is free for 15 days.

Extensions which you can use are:

SEO Meta 1 Click – This one shows the title and description on your page. It shows if you’ve set up your tags correctly. This extension shows you your titles – if you have more than one H1 tag – it helps you discover it easily and correct all mistakes. It also gives information about your images and what changes you need to make in order to improve your score.

Other extensions which are also a good idea to have:

Link Redirect Trace – As the description says: This extension was built to replace all other “partial solution” extensions for redirects, canonicals, search engine indexation, and HTTP header logging.

aHrefsInstant on-page SEO report, broken link checker, redirect tracer, and the most important SEO metrics for any webpage right in your web browser. With SEO Toolbar by Ahrefs, you can get a quick on-page SEO report for any page that you browse.

Similar Web – another mandatory one. It shows metrics for any website, along with traffic, traffic sources, etc. You may also go into detail regarding monthly visits, bounce rates, top countries, and so on and so on.

Tag Assistant – You want to follow your stats right – this one can help you to see if you’ve installed all the tags correctly (Google Analytics, Tag Manager etc.)

Keywords Everywhere – Gold. This one shows search volume for the keywords you search for on Google, YT, etc. By typing in your keywords in the Search Bar, you’ll see suggested keywords, volume, competition, CPC, etc.

BuzzSumo – If you work with social media – this is the right tool for you – you can see how your site or page performs on social media, check the metrics for engagement and all the backlinks the page got – because backlinks are important, right?

TextOptimizer – If you want to know your keywords – this is the right extension. It focuses on the page content and checks the text quality.

User-agent Switcher – You can see your website from all the possible devices and OSs. You may also add your own ones.

Social Media is IMPORTANTER Than You Think 😂

Invest time in creating a brand, it is way more important than you think (I bet we made you laugh with the title). Kinda reminded us of this.

Post and repost, comment, and be engaging. Make sure you share your stuff everywhere possible since you will be visible to everyone. Put relevant hashtags and share your experience.

Also – don’t forget to put your social media into structured data on your website. Just by writing simple lines of code, you can add your social media in the structured data of your body section of the home page

<script type="application/ld+json">
{
  "@context" : "http://schema.org",
  "@type" : "Organization",
  "name" : "Myexample",
 "url" : "https://www.thisismywebsite.com",
 "sameAs" : [
   "https://twitter.com/thisismywebsite",
   "https://www.facebook.com/thisismywebsite",
   "https://www.instagram.com/thisismywebsite/?hl=en"
   ],
  "address": {
    "@type": "PostalAddress",
    "streetAddress": "The address of My Website",
    "addressRegion": "REGION",
    "postalCode": "10000",
    "addressCountry": "STATE"
  }
}
</script>

(the wise words of Tin, our CMO)

What you can do is choose between Push notifications, In-page push, and Native Ads.

Push Notifications

Although there was some kind of a prediction that push will die (which might of course be true, we are not the managers of push notifications) it is still doing well for many of our publishers, so try it out yourself.

Back in 2018 Push was considered a premium ad format. It worked well for both Advertizers and publishers but at the beginning of 2020 Google made some changes and in that way, there were some restrictions which made everyone a bit moody, but still, everything works perfectly well if the ads are nice and if the user is interested.

The benefit of this ad format is that the traffic is bot-free, so it is human and the ads are delivered to the user even if the user is not using their website or phone.

The flow is simple – the user clicks Allow or Block when they open your website and if they voluntarily click Allow, they will receive relevant ads. Register on Coinis Publisher and send us your traffic details, so we can create a custom solution for you.

In-page Push

Similar to Push – this one is only attached to your website – so if you have daily visits – all the traffic will receive ads – regardless of the browser, the device, or OS. So, for example – for Push Notifications – the iOS was not an option – and for in-page push – every visitor to your website will receive a relevant ad.

These types of ads are aimed at a broad audience and are user friendly and the visual appearance of the ads is non-intrusive.

Native ADS

Native ads are basically content widgets that blend with your content and look like a preview of an article. People kinda know they are ads but the CTR is higher than you may expect.

There is a title and a description along with an image preview. Native ads are visible on all devices and work on every browser and OS. So, have in mind that the engagement rate is higher than the regular, traditional ad formats.

Conclusion

There are many ways you can improve your website and in many ways you can monetize it. Remember – test and more tests. Almost everything we talked about in this article – let’s put it in a bun.

Still need more advice? No problem – Ping us and we’ll help you out.
