How to create a whitelist/blacklist campaign

It’s not necessary to know how to create a global blacklist and local lists, but it can help a lot when creating a campaign and managing many campaigns.

How to create a whitelist/blacklist campaign

There are several ways to do this, and we will show you all of them now.

Creating a campaign with a blacklist:

When creating a campaign, go to SubIDs & Placements.

To make a blacklist, make sure that you have “I want to Exclude the following SubIDs and lists in targeting” selected.

A global blacklist is selected by default. By clicking on a small “x” icon, you can remove it. But since we usually keep it in our campaigns, we will leave it here.

Now that we added this list also, we have blacklisted all:

• sources from a global blacklist
• sources from a local list called “Coinis Blacklist”

Besides these two lists, we can also exclude individual sources.

Now that we added individual sources, we have blacklisted all:

• sources from a global blacklist
• sources from a local list called “Coinis Blacklist”
• Five individual sources

Creating a campaign with a whitelist:

To make a whitelist, make sure that you have “I want to Include the following SubIDs and lists in targeting” selected.

We can add the local list we created to this campaign.

Now that we added this list, we have whitelisted all sources we have put here.

Besides the lists, we can also exclude individual sources.

Now that we added individual sources, we have whitelisted all:

• sources from the “Coinis Whitelist” list
• five individual sources
